I would like to suggest you if is possible to add a button on "Links" tab to abort the automatic "check for dead links" process which is in progress.
Or/and also an option to disable it in the Settings.

The reason I'm requesting you to make these small changes is because sometimes when I want to work in replaced the dead links that I know in one specific site, I need to wait the full process of "check for dead links", for the same host, to conclude the check process for all other forums.

Then with a button to abort the check process, I could stop the process without need to wait it finishing when I load themamanager for the first time in the day.
As I have more than 60000 posts in 7 different forums and with different links of same host for each forum, the process of "check for dead links" takes long time to conclude.

This way an "Abort" button would be very usefull for me.

Hi,

you can already disable it -> "Settings" -> "Main settings" -> "Links" -> "Check for dead links interval" -> set to -1.

Might add abort.

I did this procedure and the "check" process was completely disabled.
It's also deactivating the option of the button "Check now selected websites for dead links" on the "Websites" tab.
This way is not possible check for dead links of a selected website if the "interval" is configured to "-1".

"Check now selected websites for dead links" is not affected at all by that setting.

Are you sure a enabled website is selected?

It's only deactivated when no websites are selected or a website is disabled (red). That setting has not affect on this.

Tested. Everything is fine.

Yes the website is selected.

When the "-1" is setted on "Links" and I do click on ""Check now selected websites for dead links" button in the "websites" tab, in the "status" - "links" tab is not displayed the progress of the of searching.
And the links are not displayed os result of search for dead links of selected site.
